The superstar stallion Totilas (s. Gribaldi) will be back in the ring for the first time since the Europeans in Aachen in 2015. This will be the first time that he will be seen in public since then. The seventeen year old Dutch Warmblood horse retired from competition after the European Championships came to an early end for him. He was never shown in public since then. The public will be able to see him at the big stallion show in Saint-Lô, France on the 18th and 19th of February. The organization of the show told Horse and Hound: "We’ve been working with Paul Schockemöhle for a few years now, mostly concentrating on showjumping stallions. But for this year we wanted to put a foot in the dressage world, so we went with the best: Totilas. Like everybody else, we’re really excited he’s coming. Totilas was the one stallion who brought dressage to the front of equestrian sport, and also to people who are not riding dressage themselves. He is the megastar who brings everyone to look at dressage and to love it.” It will be the first time that a dressage stallion of Paul Schockemöhle will be shown at the French stallionshow. The superstar will arrive on the 18th of February and will be shown on the 19th of february to the public. He probably won't be ridden, but will be presented in hand.
