Earlier this week the team of Mares of Macha announced the celebration of Contara her 30th birthday. The mother to topstallion, Chacco-Blue has meanwhile suddenly passed away.
Contara jumped in her sportive career with André Plath. She was an international performer up to a 1.50m level. In breeding she is not only known as the mother to Chacco-Blue, but also to Broker de Hus.
The son by Levistan jumps up to a 1.40/1.45m level with Swiss, Zacharie Luyet.
Contara lived her last years at the Mares of Macha stables in Italy. Still alive are three clones of the mare.
