France's Susana Epaillard Garcia Cereceda has won the 2023 WBFSH Jumping Breeder Award thanks to Donatello d'Auge (Jarnac x Hello Pierville). Donatello finished on top of this year's WBFSH RAnking with 1933 points, including results from 1 October 2022 to 30 September 2023.
The 10-year-old gelding won with Susana's husband, Julien Epaillard the CSI5* w 1.60m Longines FEI Jumping World Cup in Amsterdam to kick-off the 2023 year. The combination also impressed in the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix's in St Tropez and Monte-Carlo and jumped in the spotlight in the CSI4* 1.55m Grand Prix in Bourg-en-Bresse. Further the pair won the 1.55m CSIO5* City of Barcelona Trophy at the Longines Nations Cup finals in Barcelona, last month.
In the individual ranking Jenny Abrahamsson's bred, Theo 160 placed second with 1588 points. S-KY Horses' bred, Dexter Fontenis Z ended in a third place with 1586 points.
The winning studbook is the French Selle Français with best ambassador, Donatello d'Auge. In the top three the Holsteiner Verband follows in front of the Zangersheide Studbook.
