The studfarm of René Tebbel announced the news. "At our stallion show of February 19, we will honour Chacco's Son one last time. This amazing stallion will enjoy his sportive retirement and focus on his breeding career."

Tebbel and the stallion were a part of the German winning team at the European Championships in 2017. The pair also jumped to a team Silver Medal at the European Young Rider Championships and won two Nations Cup competitions.
