Alternative ways to qualify for the World Cup final

To be fair, things are not looking good for the World Cup season. Eight of the 13 heats have already been canceled in Europe. In North America there are only two more leagues on the program.

That is why the FEI announced that she was looking for another solution. For example, riders could also qualify for the final in a different way. "The FEI is constantly evaluating the situation together with the Gothenburg organization, where the final would normally take place", it said in a statement. "We are eager to let the final take place, what it will look like exactly is still a mystery to everyone".

What seems certain, however, is that there will be an alternative way for riders to qualify.

For the leagues that are canceled, the FEI ranking will be decisive. The ranking will be based on performances up to February 28, 2021. For the leagues that continue, but not completely (less than three qualifications), part the LR, part the result achieved in these qualifications, will be decisive.
