Balmoral Sensation not going to Olympics

New Zealand event rider Clarke Johnstone will not be able to participate in the Olympic Games in Tokyo with her horse Balmoral Sensation (by Senator VDL) due to an injury. Johnstone has decided to remove the 17-year-old gelding from the sport.

During the Olympic Games in Rio, the combination finished sixth. The horse has returned to New Zealand to enjoy his retirement there. The combination was credited with several victories.
