Bart Bles secures Dutch Grand Prix victory in Samorin

The CSI5* Grand Prix was already ridden in Samorin yesterday, so today it was up to the CSI2* riders to ride their ultimate final. In this 1m45 high Grand Prix twelve combinations managed to jump a clear first round; a jump-off with 12 had to decide the winner.

Bart Bles, who had to enter the ring last, managed to drive all the competition home. At that time Oplatek was already in the lead with a fast round but Bles showed that it could be even faster. He rode El Rocco (by VDL Zirocco Blue) clear in 31.34 seconds. Second place went to Andrzej Oplatek who rode Odile du Soufflet (by Ogano Sitte) with a time of 31.54 seconds. Jessica Springsteen completed the podium. Riding Tiger Lily (by Balou du Rouet), she managed to complete a clear round in 32.45 seconds.

Nicola Philippaerts (Moya vd Bisschop) and Jur Vrieling (Chabada de l'Esques) finished in fourth and fifth places.
