Belgian victory in CSI2* Grand Prix of Valencia

The Grand Prix of Valencia was the first Grand Prix that was scheduled for today and the victory went to Belgium. Bart Clarys was the fastest in a jump-off with nine riders. He counted on Geste van de Vihta (f. VDL Zirocco Blue) to clear the course in 42,06 seconds.

With this time he stayed ahead of the German rider Jörne Sprehe who followed on second place. Sprehe managed to keep the zero in the saddle of Lunda 1509 (f. l'Avian) and stopped the chrono after 42,46 seconds. Guillaume Batillat and Come on di Gisors (f. Tresor) completed the top three after a clear round in 43,57 seconds. 

Niklaus Schurtenberger (Lireu) and James Smith (Simply Splendid) followed on fourth and fifth place.
