Belgium wins Rome Nations Cup

In Rome this afternoon, the CSI5* Nations Cup was on the programme. The victory was for Belgium. A jump-off had to decide the winner, but Gregory Wathelet and Nevados S were the fastest.

The Belgians, together with the German team, collected zero penalty points over the two rounds. Olivier Philippaerts (H&M Extra) was able to keep the zero in the first round, in the second round he was the clearer. Yves Vanderhasselt (Jeunesse) had one jumping fault in the first round, in the second round he could keep the zero. Jerome Guery (Quel Homme de Hus) had two clear rounds and Gregory Wathelet (Nevados) had one fault in the second round.


Germany and France finished in second and third place.
