Unfortunately there's no clarity about the Europeans for the youth just yet. The Irish top rider Bertram Allen has reacted to the cancellation: "The cancellation really disappoints me", he starts.
"Some of my and my younger brother Harry's happiest memories and indeed life lessons were learnt at these championships. They are the foundations on chich the senio levels of our sport are built. Harry had hope to compete as a young rider in Villamoura later this summer. We should all make an effort and take a stance to ensure these Championships take place".
