'Best race horse in the world' put down after mysterious disease

Arrogate, the horse that received the title of 'best racehorse in the world' two years on a row, has been put down due to complications of a still unknown disease. The stallion was only seven years old.



It's not clear what was wrong exactly with the stallion. The horse was put down yesterday after vets had been looking for the cause of his problems for several days. It started with pain the the neck and escalated till the point where the stallion couldn't stand up anymore.
