Bryan Balsiger shines in Ascona's CSI4* Grand Prix

In Ascona the CSI4* 1.55m Grand Prix delivered exciting top level sport. After a Jump-Off with 12 the winner was crowned. It was until the end, new reigning Swiss national champion, Bryan Balsiger jumped to the win.

As second-but-last starter, Bryan Balsiger set the winning time aboard his 13-year-old sBs-mare,  Dubai du Bois Pinchet (Kashmir van Schuttershof). Together with Martin Fuchs' former mare, the Swiss rider referred Italy's Francesco Correddu with Necofix (Eco del Castegno) to the runner-up position. Belgium's number one female jumping rider, Gudrun Patteet eventually jumped to the third spot.

Patteet completed the stage aboard her trusted  Sea Coast Donna Z (Diamant de Semilly).

The pair was followed by Dutch rider, Leon Thijssen who jumped into the fourth place with his 12-year-old KWPN-gelding For President (Numero Uno). As last rider, Pia Reich completed the top five aboard PB Chaconie (Chacco-Blue).
