At the Sunshine Tour in Vejer de la Frontera, the riders were presented in the CSI4* Small Tour Grand Prix with a 1.45m course. Eleven combinations managed to keep the zero in the first phase, which qualified them for the jump-off. Ireland proved to be strongest today in this GP and claimed victory.
Ciaran Nallon rode to first place with Dolce Vita des Ouches (by Verdi TN). The duo recorded the winning time of 33.82 seconds in the jump-off. Helmut Schönstetter and the KWPN gelding EIC Julius Caesar (by Couleur Rubin) were right on the Irishman's heels but were just not fast enough and rode to second place in 34.03 seconds. Karin Ernsting and D-Coroquada I (by Contender) completed the podium with a time of 35.48 seconds.
Benedikte Rie Truelsen (Hait ASK) finished fourth. Jordy van Massenhove (Verdiamo Z) kept the Belgian honor high and jumped straight to a fifth place.
