This week, the fist World Cup round in the 2022/2023 Western European League kicks off in Oslo, Norway. At the start of this competition, some of the very best riders in the world will give their all.
The list of riders includes, among others, the word number one Henrik von Eckermann (SWE), Peder Fredericson (SWE), Steve Guerdat (SUI), Kevin Staut (FRA), Gregory Wathelet (BEL), Max Kühner (AUT), Marlon Zanotelli (BRA), Daniel Deusser (GER), Marcus Ehning (GER) and Harrie Smolders (NED).
For the host country Norway, strong holders Geir Gulliksen, Victoria Gulliksen and Marie Longem are on the list of participants.
The 2022/2023 Western Euoropean leages will include no less than fouteen CSI5*-W rounds in eleven countries, with the last round at the end of February 2023. Each rider's seven best results will determine the final ranking, of which the top eighteen from Eastern Europe will compete at the World Cup Finals in Omaha, USA, in April.
