Not only in Spain, also in Italy there is still plenty of show jumping under the southern sun. San Giovanni, Italy, for instance, hosted a CSI3* competition this weekend. The big denouement was on the programme today; the Grand Prix of the CSI3* competition. Jörne Sprehe secured a German victory. Riding Hot Easy (by Andiamo Z), she was the only one able to keep the chrono in the jump-off under 40 seconds. Her time of 39.52 seconds was thus enough to secure the victory.
Leonie Büttel and Jevenda (by Verdi TN) followed in second place. This German combination was also able to keep the clear and clocked off in 40.84 seconds. Gianni Govoni and Kir Royaal Delta Mossel Z took third place. The Zangersheide mare did not come close to the wood and finished in 40.95 seconds.
Roy Van Beek followed on fourth place. He rode Diamant de Quidam (by Diamant de Semilly) clear in 42.88 seconds. Elizabeth Bates (Heartbeat W) completed the top five.
