CSI4* Valkenswaard: Carlos Henk Guerrerio speeds to victory in 1m45 jump-off class

A 1m45 class of the CSI4* competition was jumped just now in Valkenswaard. There was an 'immediate jump-off' which means that a rider who jumps clear may start for his jump-off immediately after his basic course. So the combination does not have to come back later in the day to jump the jump-off. Eleven combinations managed to get through the first round without jumping or time faults. In that jump-off, Carlos Henk Guerrerio was the fastest. He rode the GP rider H5 Sunshine (by Diamant de Semilly) clear in 37.87 seconds.

With this, he was faster than Richard Vogel the who took second place. This German, who did very well in Aachen last week, this time rode Evermeta (by Mr Blue) clear through the course, stopping the chrono after 37.98 seconds. Edward Levy and Vitot du Chateau (by Toulon) completed the top three after a clear round in 38.43 seconds.

For his part, Denis Lynch rode Vistogrand (by Fantaland) to fourth place. The 10-year-old stallion did not come close to the wood and clocked off in 39.81 seconds. There was fifth place for Jérôme Guery and Enjoy d'Eole (by Kannan). The duo left the wood untouched and finished in 42.07 seconds.
