The main class that was scheduled in Vilamoura today, was a 1m40 class that was ridden against the clock. No fewer than 184 competitors entered the show ring for this class, but in the end it was the Irish lady rider Kate Derwin who speeded to the victory. She counted in Ahg Whiterock Cruise Down (f. Cruisings Micky Finn) to clear the course in 34,90 seconds.
With this time, she stayed ahead of Georgia Tame who ended on second place with Quintella. They kept the zero on the score board and finished in 35,23 seconds. Shane Breen and Gait L (f. Zambes I) followed on third place. They jumped a clear round and finished in 35,29 seconds.
Laura Renwick (Top Dollar VI) and Julien Gonin (Cymba) followed on fourth and fifth place.
