Gaudiano and Chalou fly to victory in CSI3* Grand Prix of Hubside

Hubside was also jumping at CSI3* level this weekend. Two more classes are scheduled later today but the highlight of the weekend, the CSI3* Grand Prix was jumped just moments ago. Eleven combinations managed to qualify for the jump-off. With riders like De Luca, Gaudiano, Jochems and Balsiger in the jump-off, one thing was already written in the stars: it promised to be a very fast denouement.

In that jump-off, it was Italian Emanuele Gaudiano who ended up taking victory. He counted on his trusty Chalou (by Chacco-Blue) to jump clear to the finish in 36.85 seconds. With this, he was comfortably the fastest. No other combination managed to match his time. Kevin Staut came closest with Dialou Blue PS (by Diarado's Boy). The duo did not come close to the wood and finished in 38.14 seconds. Third place also went to a French combination. Bruno Garez rode his Selle Français stallion United Sunheup (by Balogran) clear in 38.65 seconds, enough to take home bronze.

Philipp Housten (Sandros S Bella) and Jeanne Sadran (Virtuose Champeix) finished in fourth and fifth place.
