Giampiero Garofalo speeds to victory in CSI2* Grand Prix of Bonheiden

The CSI2* competition has known its highlight with the Grand Prix this afternoon. The riders jumped over an height of 1m45, eleven combinations managed to qualify for the jump-off.

The Italian rider Giampiero Garofalo jumped to the victory. He managed to keep the zero in the saddle of Touche d'Espoure (f. Alba 69) and finished in 35,12 seconds. Abdelkebir Ouaddar and Istanbull vh Ooievaarshof (f. Casall) followed on second place. They left the wood untouched and finished in 37,03 seconds. Virginie Thonon was the best Belgian rider on third place. She rode High Tech Vy de Septon (f. Del Piero P&B) clear to the finish in 37,04 seconds.

Frederic Bouvard (Hugh Grant de Muze) and Kirsten Rombouts (Mowgli KR) completed the top five.
