Gregory Wathelet on top in 1.50m Grand Prix qualifier at Sentower Park

In front of his own crowd, Belgium's Gregory Wathelet speeded to victory in Wednesday's 1.50m CSI4* Longines Ranking class. Wathelet was the only to keep the chrono under 62 seconds with his 11-year-old Berline du Maillet Z (Berlin).

Earlier the Belgium rider already jumped on stage in the Youngster Cup. On stage in this GP-qualifier, France's Julien Epaillard settled as runner up. Last weekend Epaillard won the CSI3* Grand Prix in Opglabbeek. This time he and  Gracieux du Pachis (Tinka's Boy) stayed ahead of local hero, Olivier Philippaerts with his 11-year-old son of Cayado,  Zayado.

The top five further colored Dutch as Kevin Jochems jumped into a fourth position aboard Cornetboy (Cornet's Stern),  being followed by compatriot Niels Kersten with his 10-year-old Tippy Z (Tyson).
