Guery starts with victory in CSI5* opening class Madrid

The first CSI5* class of the day has been jumped in Madrid and the victory went to Belgium. Jérôme Guery rode Grupo Prom Milton (f. Mylord Carthago HN) clear to the finish in 28,87 seconds. 

With this time he stayed ahead of Eric Lamaze who jumped to second place. Lamaze left the wood untouched in the saddle of Chacco Kid (f. Chacco Blue) and finished in 28,88 seconds. Constant van Paesschen and Vendetta Treize (f. Diamant de Semilly) completed the podium after a clear round in 30,41 seconds. 

Jodie Hall Mcateer (Kimosa van het Kritrahof) and Maikel van der Vleuten (Elwikke) completed the top five.
