Jeroen De Winter secures Belgian victory in main class Lier

In Lier the main class of the day was jumped just now: a 1m40 of the CSI2* competition. Fifteen combinations could qualify for the jump-off, but eventually it was Jeroen de Winter who drew the longest straw. He rode Iron Lady van't Meulenhof (by Parco) clear in 34.12 seconds.

With this he left his cousin, Thibeau Spits, behind. Spits also managed to jump a clear round in the saddle of Juragold Bormes (by Contact vd Heffinck) and finished in 34.23 seconds. The rest of the top five was all British. Douglas Duffin with Imperium RJ (by Dakar VDL) finished in third place after a clear jump-off in 34.81 seconds.

James Wilson (L'Amour) and Alex David Gill (Gogo) completed the top five.
