In Oliva, the Grand Prix of the CSI3* competition was jumped just now. In this Gold Grand Prix over a height of 1m50, nine of the 52 competitors were able to keep the clear in the first round. A jump-off with nine therefore had to be decisive. In that jump-off, Jérôme Guery once again showed why he is one of the fastest riders in the world. Riding Careca LS Elite (by Carusso LS La Silla), he managed to record a clear round behind his name in 35.56 seconds.
This kept him ahead of Marlon Modolo Zanotelli, who took second place with Heureuse Nouvelle WH (by Cardento 933). The breeding product of the Wouters family kept all the bars in the scoops and clocked in 35.71 seconds. Harry Charles and Balou du Reventon (by Cornet Obolensky) were allowed to sit on the step podium. They jumped a clear jump-off in 36.47 seconds.
The top five was completed by Joseph Clayton (Comme Il Faut 5) and Philip Houston (Sandro Boy).
