The 22-year old dressage rider Juan Matute Guimon, has been fighting for his life for nine days now. His condition shows a light improvement but he will be kept in a artificial coma for longer than expected.
Last week, the Spanish rider was operated for the second time and a CT-scan yesterday showed a light improvement in his condition. His father tells that he will be kept in an artificial coma for longer than expected in order to give his brain some extra time to rest and recover.
