Julien Epaillard leaves all competition behind in CSI5* opening class Al Shaqab

In Al Shaqab the opening class of the CSI5* competition was jumped just now: a 1m45 where they jumped in two phases. 39 Participants came to the start and the victory went to the French rider Julien Epaillard. 

He rode Safari d'Auge (by Diamant de Semilly) clear through the second phase in 32.19 seconds. The rest of the top three went to Swedish riders: Henrik Von Eckermann rode Carlotta 276 (by Cornet Obolensky) to second place. The duo left the wood untouched and finished in 33.06 seconds. Peder Fredricson and Hansson (by Hip Hop) took home third place after a clear round in 33.34 seconds.

Penelope Leprevost (Verite Une Prince) and Jos Verlooy (Fabregas) took home fourth and fifth respectively.
