Jumping Amsterdam cancelled 2021 edition

Jumping Amsterdam won't take place in 2021. The organization just announced the news in a press release. The event should have taken place from January 28th till January 31st, but given the current health situation, Jumping Amsterdam decided to cancel after all. The organization states that it's not responsible to organize an event like Jumping Amsterdam in the current circumstances.

“This decision was very, very difficult for us,” says Paul Riemens, CEO of the RAI in Amsterdam and also chairman of the board of Jumping Amsterdam. “We are going to miss the team spirit and being together with everyone involved, the public, the participants, partners, volunteers and exhibitors. But we don't want to take any risks with regard to everyone's health. And from a financial point of view, it is not justified to incur costs at a time when uncertainty reigns and measures are constantly being adjusted. In order to guarantee the continuity of Jumping Amsterdam in the long term, it is therefore more sensible to skip one year and aim for the 2022 edition.”
