Jumping International de Bordeaux cancelled

Due to the health restrictions currently imposed on sporting events and shows by the French government, the 2022 edition of Jumping International de Bordeaux cannot take place. The organisers of Jumping International de Bordeaux and the Salon du Cheval de Bordeaux hereby announce that the 2022 edition has been cancelled.

The jumping was to be held from 3 to 6 February 2022. Up until the last moment, the event organiser made efforts to maintain the 2022 edition, considering all possible options, including postponement until March, but unfortunately without success.

With the cancellation of Bordeaux, yet another World Cup stage is cancelled. The Western European World Cup season had already been reduced to six stages after Helsinki, Stuttgart, Mechelen, Amsterdam and Basel were all cancelled. Now there are only five left with Gothenburg to go before the final in Leipzig in April.
