A CSI4* competition was scheduled in Braunschweig, Germany, this weekend. One of the highlights of the day was a 1m50 Grand Prix qualifier. 47 combinations entered in the first round, the best 12 of the first round, were allowed to return for the all-decisive 'winning round'.
The fastest clear round came from Katrin Eckermann. She rode Cala Mandia (by Capistrano) clear through the course and stopped the chrono after 41.41 seconds. This was more than enough to keep the victory in German hands. Henk Frederiks followed in second place. The Dutchman's Impian D (by VDL Bubalu) did not come close to the wood and finished in 42.83 seconds, enough to take home second place. There was third place for Adrian Schmid and Chicharito 11 (by Casalito). This Swiss combination was able to keep zero on the scoreboard, finishing in 44.17 seconds.
Cassandra Orschel (Dacara E) and Rene Dittmer (Burlington Riverland) completed the top five.
