Maikel van der Vleuten: "If I will win the GP as well? I'll do my very best"

The Dutch rider Maikel van der Vleuten won the main class of Saint-Tropez yesterday. This spring, he already jumped to several victories on French ground and this time he once again counted on his mare Dana Blue to ride to the victory.

"It was a great class", Van der Vleuten said afterwards. "It was the perfect course. The main difficulty was the time allowed: it was very hard to finish in the time allowed without making any mistakes. We all took all risks and for some combinations this resulted in some faults on the way. Eventually ten combinations managed to keep the zero so a jump-off with ten combinations had to decide about the winner. Dana Blue is in great shape for the moment, she proved this on several occasions. If I will win the Grand Prix as well? I'll do my very best", the Dutchman laughs.
