Mariano Martinez Bastida jumps to Grand Prix victory in Oliva

The 1m45 high Grand Prix of the CSI2 * competition was just jumped in Oliva. It was striking that only three of the 69 starting combinations were able to keep the zero in the basic course. So a jump-off with only three combinations had to be the deciding factor.

The victory remained in Spanish hands. Mariano Martinez Bastida counted on Cleartoon to ride clear to the finish in 38.97 seconds. Melie Gosa finished second with Alouette d'Eole (by Mylord Carthago). Although she recorded the fastest time (38.64 seconds), she knocked one rail out of the spoons. Kendra Claricia Brinkop and Bellisima Ter Wilgen Z (by Bamako de Muze) followed in third place.

Axel van Colen (Veyron) and Tim Wilks (Goldfinger Z) completed the top five.
