Mark Mcauley victorious in 1.40m Silver Tour Grand Prix of Oliva

In Oliva, the Silver Tour 1.40m Grand Prix came to a thrilling end. Twelve combinations managed to stay clear in the first round and thus qualify for the jump-off in this GP. Six riders stayed double clear and fought for the first place. In the end it was Irish rider Mark Mcauley who proved to be the strongest in this GP. 


The Irishman Mark Mcauley set the winning time of 39.17 seconds in the jump-off with the 18 year old gelding Miebello (by Flyinge Quite Easy 958). Jonna Ekberg settled for second place. The Swedish rider was able to count on her mare Ja Belle Stability (by London) to cross the finish line clear in 39.87 seconds. Emilie Conter provided strong Belgian defense and rode Catokia 2 (by Catoki) to third place. She recorded a time of 40.74 seconds. 

Italian rider Paolo Paini (Japonica De Ca' San Giorgio) secured a fourth place. Steve Guerdat (Orlano Z) jumped to fifth place.
