At the Hubside Jumping Grimaud in St. Tropez, the day ended with a CSI5* 1.50m Longines Ranking class in a two-stage special class. After a thrilling few rounds, it was Brazilian Rider Marlon Modolo Zanotelli who proved to be the strongest today and claimed victory in this evening class under the French sun.
Marlon Modolo Zanotelli and Luigi d'Eclipse (by Catoki) sped to victory in this ranking class in 38.02 seconds. With this, they were just too fast for Kevin Jochems and Cornetboy (by Cornet's Stern). They had to settle for second place in a time of 39.26 seconds. On home soil, Mathieu Billot rode H (by C Indoctro) to third place in 39.36 seconds.
John Whitaker and Sharid (by Toulon) secured fourth place, edging Victor Bettendorf and Simolo de La Roque Z (by Spartacus) into fifth.
