Mathieu Billot takes biggest win in Vilamoura

In Vilamoura the main number of the day has just been jumped: a 1m45 with jump-off. As many as 20 of the 77 participants qualified for the jump-off. A busy jump-off had to be the deciding factor.

The win went to France: Mathieu Billot counted on Ilena S (by Verdi) to jump a clear round in 30.79 seconds. Yuri Mansur and Ibelle Ask (v. Verdi) took second place. They were able to keep the zero and finished in 31.18 seconds. Piergiorgio Bucci and Naiada de'Elsendam Z (by Nabab de Reve) completed the podium after a clear round in 32.27 seconds.

Andrzej Oplatek (Stakkatan) and Eduardo Pereira de Menezes (Calypso de Matis) followed in fourth and fifth place.
