Matthew Sampson jumps to victory in CSI2* Grand Prix Qualifier of Knokke


Three weeks of top sport just started in Knokke with two classes of the CSI1* competition and one GP qualifier of the CSI1* competition. In the Grand Prix qualifier Matthew Sampson rode to victory. He rode Harley D (by Spartacus) to victory by jumping a clear round in 59.84 seconds.

With this, he stayed ahead of the best Belgian, Axel Vandoorne. He counted on Jacarta (by Larino) to jump a clear round in 60.08 seconds. Felix Hassmann and Sig Captain America (by Captain Fire) completed the top three after a clear round in 60.70 seconds. 

Ines van den Bosch (Infinity vd Heffinck) and Richard Kierkegaard (Queenessa Verdi) finished in fourth and fifth places.
