McLain Ward claims victory in $75,000 1.50m Grand Prix of Wellington

On American soil in Wellington, the $75,000 Grand Prix took place on Sunday evening. In front of his own audience McLain Ward rode Catoki (by Catoki) to first place in this 1.50m class. 

McLain Ward rode the stallion Catoki in 36.01 seconds over the finish line and took home the victory. With this, he was too fast for Michael Murphy, who rode another Catoki son, Catoki's Son Z, and sent him over the finish line in 37.64 seconds. Hector Florentino Roca completed the top three with ABC Quantum Cruise (by Obos Quality 004) in 37.67 seconds. 

Heather Caristo (Marciano MVF) finished fourth. On five followed Margie Goldstein-Engle (Jackofhearts).
