The Grand Prix' throughout Europe are gradually coming to an end for this weekend and that was of course also the case in Valkenswaard: the CSI4* Grand Prix still had to be jumped. 43 combinations came to the start and they were presented with a very tough basic course: only seven of them managed to complete a clear basic round. This immediately meant that seven combinations advanced to the jump-off.
Michael Greeve secured a Dutch victory in that jump-off. He had to start last in the jump-off with Jacksonville Eurohill (by Emerald) and managed to slightly adjust the time of Willem Greve, who had been leading until then. His time of 45.36 seconds earned him the victory. Second place for Willem Greve. In the saddle of Highway TN (by Eldorado vd Zeshoek) he recorded a clear round to his name. He finished in 45.98 seconds and was just ahead of Koen Vereecke who finished in third place. Vereecke and 13-year-old Kasanova de la Pomme (by Bamako de Muze) were only two hundredths slower than Greve, but had to settle for third place.
Ioli Mytilineou and 12-year-old Levis de Muze (by Elvis Ter Putte) took home fourth place. They left the wood untouched and finished in 47.40 seconds. Maikel van der Vleuten and O'Bailey vh Brouwershof (by Contact vd Heffinck) completed the top five after a clear round in 51.06 seconds.
