Robert unbeatable in Global Champions Tour Grand Prix Madrid

In Madrid, the Grand Prix of the Global Champions Tour was jumped just now; the riders were presented with an archly difficult basic course: only two combinations were able to keep the zero: Scott Brash and Olivier Robert.

Quick Results

1. Olivier Robert - Vivaldi des Meneaux

2. Scott Brash - Hello Jefferson

3. Darragh Kenny - VDL Cartello

4. Marlon Modolo Zanotelli - VDL Edgar M

5. Sergio Alvarez Moya - Alamo

The victory finally went to Olivier Robert. He jumped a very fast jump-off in the saddle of Vivaldi des Meneaux (by Chippendale Z). The duo was able to keep the zero and stopped the chrono after 36.74 seconds. For Scott Brash and Hello Jefferson (by Cooper vd Heffinck) there was a clear jump-off in 39.26 seconds.

Darragh Kenny finished in third place. He completed a fast basic round on VDL Cartello (by Cartani), which was still enough for the bronze. They did get one jumping fault behind their name. Marlon Modolo Zanotelli and VDL Edgar M (by Arezzo VDL) took home second place. For Segio Alvarez Moya and Alamo (Ukato) there was a fifth place.
