Peter Weinberg: "It was a logical decision to start organizing trainings in Aachen"

The Belgian national coach Peter Weinberg is one of the men behind the trainings on the holy grass of Aachen. Last week, the arenas of Aachen opened their doors to the international jumping top. Pieter Clemens and Frank Schuttert, amongst others, already took advantage of this opportunity.

"It was a logical decision to open up the arenas of Aachen for training," said Weinberg. "As soon as it became clear that the organization of the competition itself would not go ahead, we decided to organize training sessions for the best riders in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. Foreign riders who ride in one of these three countries are also welcome. Each rider can come to Aachen with a maximum of ten horses with one groom. It is not intended that the grounds will be open to everyone, only for professional riders and national teams".
