Piergiorgio Bucci takes the lead in CSI4* Grand Prix

On Portuguese soil in Vilamoura the international riders competed for the title of the 1m50 Grand Prix today. This CSI4* class was ridden in two phases. In the jump-off Italian rider  Piergiorgio Bucci and Cochello (by Casall) managed to ride an extremely fast round which was good for a first place. Second place went to Belgium with Francois Jr Mathy and Uno de La Roque (by Numero Uno). Where Francois needed 45.55 seconds, Piergiorgio Bucci did it in 40.10 seconds and thus rode about 5 seconds faster! 

Only three combinations managed to stay clear in this Grand Prix. The third who was able to do so was Nicole Pavit. In the saddle of Madagascar Dwerse Hagen (v. Va-Vite) she left the wood untouched in 45.80 seconds. 

The top five was completed by Germany. There, Luisa Himmelreich (Clenur) was able to secure fourth place. Mel Thijssen (Cartolana 2) rode for the Netherlands to a fifth place.
