Richard Vogel on top in opening class Aachen


This week there will also be jumps on the green grass of the European Mecca of equestrian sports, Aachen. In the 1.40m opening class the German show jumpers ruled with Richard Vogel in the lead. Vogel won in the saddle of Lesson Peak (Lord Z).


The German duo was the only one clear under 29 seconds and thus referred Michael Jung with fischerDaily Impressed (Cartani) to second place. Third place also turned black-red-yellow, but then as black-yellow-red. Belgian, Pieter Devos guided Haloubet Hitchcock (Baloubet du Rouet) clear to third place.

Off the podium Laura Kraut followed in the saddle of Galliano Vm (Ukato) before Felix Hassmann with Balance 30 (Balou du Rouet). Maikel van der Vleuten raced to sixth place in Canisha's saddle.
