Sergio Alvarez Moya keeps Grand Prix victory Oliva in Spanish hands


The final CSI2 * Grand Prix has just been jumped in Oliva. Sixteen of the 82 participants were able to jump a clear round. A jump-off with sixteen had to decide the winner. In this Grand Prix there was a height of 1m45 and with four Belgians in the jump-off thiscountry was very well represented.

The win however went to the Spaniard Sergio Alvarez Moya. He counted on Valdocco des Caps (by Number One d'Iso) to jump a clear jump-off in 34.31 seconds. Julien Epaillard rode to second place. He rode his super fast Usual Suspect d'Auge (by Jarnac) clear to the finish and stopped the chrono after 34.59 seconds. Lieven Devos provided the best Belgian performance. He rode Inca's Big Think (by Bealieu's Think Big) to third place in 38.09 seconds.

Elisa Strubbe (Mr Quality Z) and Ioli Mytilineou (La Perla vd Heffinck) finished in fourth and fifth place.
