Spencer takes the win in Waregem before Belgian riders

The first CSI5* class of the day has just ended in Waregem. It was a 1m40 class that was ridden in two phases. The Belgian riders did everything in their power to give the public a Belgian victory but in the end they had to let the win to the American rider Spencer Smith. 


Smith rode Fathalys (f. Mozart des Hayettes) to the finish line in 32,58 seconds, leaving the wood untouched. Gilles Thomas and Caretina (f. Caretino 2) ended on second place. They left the wood untouched and finished in 32,90 seconds. Wilm Vermeir ended on third place with Joyride S (f. Toulon). 

Jéroôme Guery and Grace P (f. Toulon) tookd account of the fourth place. Omer Karaevli and Livingstone van het Peggershof (f. Ogano Sitte) ended fifth.
