Steve Guerdat: "I used to put the same boot on first every time for extra luck"

Steve Guerdat, currently number one in the world, admitted that he used to be very superstitious. 



"I used to be very superstitious. I always wore the same belt and I always put on the same boot first for extra luck. I only let my superstition go when I started to ride Nino des Buissonets. I realized only then that all those things weren't necessary. Nino always jumped so well and always did his best for me, even if I didn't wear my 'lucky belt'", the Swiss rider said.
