At the Sunshine Tour, a 1m45 section of the Big Tour was the main event of the day today. Out of over 80 starters, 28 managed to complete a clear first round. A jump-off with just under 30 combinations therefore had to decide on the winner. In that jump-off there was fast riding which was obviously necessary with a lot of fast combinations in the denouement. In the end, it was also one of those extremely fast riders who jumped to victory. David Will was able to record a clear round in the saddle of Zaccorado Blue (by VDL Zirocco Blue). The duo clocked off in 39.27 seconds.
With this time, they were over half a second faster than Carlos Eduardi Mota Ribas, who took second place with 9-year-old Trix (by Asterix E Z). The duo jumped a clear round in 39.90 seconds. Charlotte Bettendorf and Babacool (by Tlaloc M) secured third place after a clear round in 40.32 seconds.
Matthew Sampson (MGH Candy Girl) and Commander Geoff Curran (HHS Clinstown) finished in places four and five.
