Thomas Carlile leads Golden de Beliard AA to victory in World Championship Young Eventers

The World Championship for young eventing horses has come to an end for the six year olds. In the French Le Lion d'Angers, 43 eventing prospects gave the best of themselves until the end in the three different parts. In the end, Thomas Carlile won in front of his home crowd. 


Carlile had the six year old Golden de Beliard AA under his saddle. The mare out of Upsilon won this Championship with 27,6 penalties behind her name. In second place was the American Caroline Martin. She brought Hsh Connor (v. Connor 48) with her to France and ended their weekend with 29,2 penalties. Following in third was Sarah Bullimore with Corimiro (v. Amiro Z). The British team had 30,4 penalties. 

Patriot Tom Jackson was in the saddle of Midnight Endeavour (v. Future Trend) and ended with the smallest difference of 0,1 penalties in fourth place. Again 0,1 made the difference for Cornelia Dorr. The American had 30,6 penalties with DHI Qyaracolle Z (v. Quinar Z) and was fifth.
