Douglas Lindelöw and Cheldon speed to fame in Speed Cup of Leipzig

At Partner Pferd Leipzig, the Saturday was closed with a Speed Cup. Over a height of 1.45m, 40 combinations were eager to be the fastest but also staying clear was a very important detail. In the end, it was Douglas Lindelöw who was put on top of the list aboard of the 15yo Cheldon.

The Swede Douglas Lindelöw claimed victory on the back of Cheldon, a fifteen-year-old descendant of Chacco-Blue (breeder: Gestüt Lewitz). With approximately a one-second lead, they outpaced Edward Levy, who secured the second position aboard Confidence d'Ass (Diamant de Semilly). Daniel Deusser, delivering a strong performance, clinched the bronze with the 10-year-old Kannan offspring, Loui LN.

Pieter Clemens (BEL) entered the arena as the fourteenth of almost forty combinations with the 13-year-old mare FRH Quaid, clearly setting his sights on victory. The Belgian rider, partnered with the breeding product of Manfred Schafer, clocked the absolutely fastest time, but a few penalty points dropped them to the fifth position. Kendra Claricia Brinkop, the winner of the previous round, once again demonstrated her skills, guiding the 12-year-old BWP mare Ma Belle (Ugano Sitte, breeder: Gust Brosens) to the fourth place.
