Martin Fuchs and Connor Jei close Royal Windsor Horse Show with splendid GP victory

At the Royal Windsor Horse Show, Martin Fuchs was the big winner in the 5* Grand Prix. A difficult 1.60m course kept many riders out of the jump-off, where only nine of them were allowed to start.

One-third of the combinations were allowed to warm up for the jump-off. With obstacles at 1.60m height, it was no easy task to stay off the wood. Martin Fuchs (SUI) kept Conner Jei (by Connor 48) clear and pushed the gas pedal all the way, resulting in a finishing time of 33.37 seconds. With that time, they were exactly forty seconds faster than Ben Maher (GBR), who rode his legendary Explosion W (by Chacco-Blue) to silver. Bertram Allen (IRL) concluded the top three in the saddle of Pacino Amiro (by Pacino).

Max Kühner (AUT) was also unbeatable with Elektric Blue P (by Eldorado vd Zeshoek) and came fourth, while Roger Yves Bost (FRA) was the last to leave the wood untouched and took fifth place with Cassius Clay Vdv Z (by Calvino Z).
