While everyone is counting down the hours for the World Cup that will be ridden later this afternoon, the CSI5* riders already entered the show ground this morning. They jumped the 'Prize Stephex', a 1m45 class with jump-off. No less than 17 combinations jumped a clear first round. A jump-off with 17 combinations therefore had to decide about the winner.
The first clear jump-off came from Gilles Thomas. With Calleryama (f. Casall) under the saddle, the Belgian talent crossed the finish line after 29,90 seconds. This would result in a third place in the standings. The victory went to Thibeau Spits. He rode Bellissimo Z (f. Bamako de Muze) to the finish line in 29,34 seconds, leaving the wood untouched. The second place was for yesterdays Grand Prix winner: Niels Bruynseels. He rode Kopernic van Orti (f. Diamant de Semilly) to the finish in 29,85 seconds. Christian Ahlmann and Zampano Z (f. Zandor Z) ended on fourth place. They jumped clear round and stopped the clock after 30,53 seconds.
The birthday girl, Jessica Springsteen, ended on fifth place. She counted on Tiger Lily (f. Balou du Rouet) to ride a clear round in 31,36 seconds.
