In Montefalco, Italy, the 1.55m Grand Prix was won by the Brazilian Stephan de Freitas Barcha, who left behind a compatriot and numerous other combinations.
The Belgian rider, Celine Schoonbroodt - De Azevedo could once again count on Deesse des Embruns (by Mylord Carthago) for this Grand Prix in Montefalco. The 10-year-old mare could not be caught out on a fault and gave Schoonbroodt the bronze. The duo was one of three finalists in the jump-off, where they eventually decided not to start. The other two podium spots were taken by Brazilian combinations. Stephan de Freitas Barcha rode the fastest round on Chevaux Primavera Montana Imperio Egipcio (by Calvaro FC) and won by just under two seconds difference. His compatriot Luiz Felipe Cortizo Gonçalves de Azevedo Filho was second, riding the Zangersheide mare Sierra du Piedroux Z (by Hunters Scendix).
