Abdel Said gives competition the upper hand in main class CSI5* Windsor

In Windsor, jumping continues at CSI5* level. The main event of the day was a 1m55 class with jump-off. 21 competitors entered, nine of them managed to record a clear first round behind their name. A jump-off with nine therefore had to decide the winner. The winner was a Belgian, Abdel Said in the saddle of Arpege du Ru (by Apache d'Adriers) was too quick for everyone; he rushed to the finish in 32.32 seconds, leaving all the obstacles in the scoop, enough to take the win.

Harry Charles followed in second place. He counted on Aralyn Blue (by Chacco-Blue) to jump a clear round in 32.97 seconds. Completing the top three was Kevin Staut. Staut saddled Beau de Laubry Z (by Bisquet Balou vd Mispelaere) to jump a clear round in 33.76 seconds.

Trevor Breen and Gonzalo took fourth place in turn. The 12-year-old KWPN rider did not come close to the wood and clocked off in 34.31 seconds. Koen Vereecke and Lector vd Bisschop (by Bamako de Muze) completed the top five after a clear round in 34.40 seconds.
